Who is eligible for VITA?

For the 2021 season, the VITA program offers free tax help to people who:

Make $57,000 or less
Persons with disabilities
Limited English-speaking taxpayers 
Those who are 60 years of age and older.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) offers free Federal & State tax return preparation for low income families in Berkshire County provided by trained volunteers. The program increases the capacity for low-income families to file returns, and improves the accuracy of the returns.
